**About the Role**
Can you be the driving force for Canon ANZ consumer engagement strategy? If you have an eye for original engaging content, in touch with channels, enjoy managing a dynamic social team and have a keenness for content performance - this could be the right place for you.
As a member of the Sales and Support Group (SSG) Marketing Communications team, this role is responsible for development and delivery of cross-channel digital marketing strategies focused on driving consumer engagement & meeting business objectives. The role reports to Manager - Marketing Communications & has 2 direct reportees. It is a Macquarie Park based role with the flexibility of working from home.
**Main Duties**
- Lead and mentor the Australia and New Zealand Community Managers
- Lead Canon’s content room model
- bringing together cross functional teams
- Curating content opportunities from our existing network and leverage trends to increase visibility of the Canon brand and its digital channels
- Lead the development, planning and execution of digital media plans based on business objectives and campaign goals, with clear KPIs and a performance-based mindset
**About You**
Key skills include:
- Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media. Minimum 5-6 years social media, marketing communications and digital content production experience, ideally both on digital agency and corporate side
- Experience managing people or a small team
- Strong content writing, curating and editing skills
- Experienced in managing a content publishing platform
- Strong content marketing abilities ensuring all activities align with broader business goals
- Understanding of paid media across all digital channels
- Experience developing reporting / analysis of social performance, channel performance and audience sentiment; understands how to translate performance into actionable insights
- Solid understanding of Google Analytics
