McLean Farms is a family-owned business with a reputation for quality. We are seeking to fill the position of Water and Environment Technician. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and be a team player.

Reporting directly to the Water Management and Environment Officer, this position would provide assistance in the maintenance of water and environmental systems and processes. This role would be extremely "hands-on", following directions and ensuring compliance with all directives.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes**:

- Current valid drivers’ licence;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks;
- High level of computer literacy, with experience in Word and Excel is essential;
- High level of mathematical ability;
- Previous experience with water equipment installation and operation would be highly regarded;
- Previous experience with reverse osmosis plants would be highly regarded;
- Previous experience with water pumping, storage, and infrastructure would be highly regarded;
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities would be highly regarded;
- Be able to work for extended periods of time outdoors in a physical manner;
- Be prepared to work as part of a team, but be able to work autonomously when required;
- Strong inter-personal skills, able to work co-operatively with internal and external contacts;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Must be reliable, punctual and motivated;
- Good attention to detail, and
- Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, bio-security and operational requirements.

Wages shall be commensurate with experience and are based on the Water Industry Award.

You may be required to work reasonable overtime to meet operational demands. You will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and a pre-employment functional capacity evaluation.

**You must not have any birds, pigs or poultry at your place of residence.**
