Engineering Support Technician

McLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes West of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking an Engineering Support Technician to join the team in a full-time capacity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform all preventative and reliability maintenance functions in line with the engineering plan.
- Complete pre-operational checks and machine set-up.
- Assist in major component change outs and major breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot faults and analyse equipment failures to minimise downtime.
- Attend simple call outs as directed.
**Requirements**:
- Have a strong technical understanding of maintenance and engineering principles.
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline orientated environment.
- The ability to work cooperatively with employees of all levels and abilities.
- Awareness of and emphasis on the importance of carrying out all requirements relating to the quality, food safety, and environmental systems of McLean Farms’.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written communication, with the ability to write reports and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, bio-security and operational requirements.

- Relevant tertiary education.
