- Employer in digital banking space.
- Can be in Sydney or Melbourne.

**Permanent role : Technology 3rd Party Cyber Risk Manager with a digital bank. The role can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Optimising the framework used to qualify cyber tech data and 3rd party risk.
- Rather than work in one silo you will be in a level 2 role working across the silo setting limits,** dealing with architecture and those owning the controls,** dealing with specific IT teams, working in the cloud.
- Seniority: this role is two levels down from this bank's CISO. Therefore expect influence.

**What we need in you.**
- To be a **strong influencer of change. **To set your own guidelines and standards ultimately owned by the CISO.
- Maybe you have come from a solo role in a big 4, across cyber and third party and tech risk. Or a consultancy and you wish to work for an end user client, in this case a digital banking organisation.
- **To understand how data management controls operate**.

**The team and reports**:
You will report into the person who designed the control frameworks from scratch. He will take you through them in detail with great enthusiasm Very passionate people in IT and the business about all things Cyber and 3rd party risk oriented.

**You can expect**:

- Daily stand-ups.
- No micro management.
- Transparent communication styles that are open and they expect you too to be open.
- You will not be asked to “reach for the sky” rather you will be expected to have and work to realistic goals and ambitions.
- Detailed and enthusiastic training on the environment and taxonomy of the organisation that the hiring manager has built.
