**A day in the Life of a Technology Risk and Compliance Manager**

This first line role is responsible for partnering with the business to provide risk and compliance advise to technology related matter including cyber security.

This is a newly created role; you'll lead the implementation of new risk and compliance methodologies and frameworks for the division.
- Provide risk, control, and compliance advice to senior leaders.
- Coach and guide a small group of technology risk professionals.
- Identify and assess risks and controls against business objectives.
- Assess the design of key IT risks and obligation related controls.
- Identify key risks arising from changes to technology, processes and regulatory change.
- Provide insights into determine technology related risks.
- Facilitate and chair risk and compliance forums/committees.

**Experience desired to succeed in the role**:

- 7+ years in a Technology Risk Management or IT Audit role in any industry, ideally highly regulated or financial services.
- Tertiary qualification in technology, accounting, finance or relevant with CISA/CISSP/CRISC/CISM/ITIL/CPA/CA)
- Experience managing/mentoring small teams and passionate about developing people.
- Sound knowledge of the technology risks organisations face.
- Technically savvy and experience in technology platforms: cloud, business systems, architecture, IT, Cyber.
- Familiar with risk and compliance frameworks, concepts, and standards.
- Strong knowledge of APRA landscape relating to information security or cyber risk e.g. CPS234.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and challenge respectfully.
- Ability to articulate and provide feedback in a constructive manner.
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills.
