**About the role**:
Join the team that keeps the Darling Downs Power Station operating safely and efficiently and perform as one of Australia’s most efficient power generation sites.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Resolve defects whilst maintaining station performance and meeting operational targets by returning plant to normal operating service.
- Preparing work method statements, risk assessment and / or plant operating instructions ensuring the required level of maintenance to asset is achieved and records maintained. This shall also involve preparing work orders, ordering spares and the identification of resources.
- Execute routine and non-routine maintenance activities in accordance with agreed procedures and operational requirements to ensure plant is operating safely, effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in major and minor plant and equipment outages.
- Always operate in compliance with all relevant Occupational Health, Safety and Environment legislation, codes of practice, standards, policies, operating procedures, PTW System and work instructions.

**What will you bring?**
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, assessing priorities and meeting agreed targets.
- Relevant Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate is essential.
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the business.
- Previous knowledge and experience (or capability to develop) of plant, equipment, materials and maintenance methods used in Power Stations or similar heavy industry.
- High Risk Work Licenses (WP, FL, DG, RB, BA, TO) or willingness to obtain If required.
- Dedication to working safely and efficiently within the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment legislation, codes of practice, standards, policies, operating procedures, PTW System and work instructions.
