BaptistCare is seeking a Chaplain to join our amazing chaplaincy team at the Durham Green Lifestyle Village & Manor in Menangle.

The village is located in a serene country town just 10 minutes from the larger centres of Camden and Campbelltown. Perched at the gateway to the beautiful Southern Highlands, Durham Green is only 30 minutes to the beaches and coastal landscape of the Illawarra or an easy hour’s drive to Sydney.

**About the role**:
The chaplain will provide quality person-centred Chaplaincy/ Pastoral Care that meets the needs of our residents, clients and their families, staff and volunteers and is consistent with BaptistCare’s Purpose and Values.

**The position is a permanent fulltime role based in Menangle.**

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy /pastoral care OR tertiary theological qualifications with a willingness to undertake chaplaincy / pastoral care specific training within the first 12 months of employment.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart
- Active involvement in and recommendation from a local Christian Church
- Chaplaincy or pastoral care experience
- Current ‘Working with Children Check’
- Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary settings
- Willingness to undergo a police check
