Insulation Installers needed:
Job Location: Epping (jobs are located all over Melbourne, but the day starts and ends in Epping)

**POSITION AVAILABLE**:Blow-In Insulation Operator: (Complex work, need to have a basic understanding of building and construction. This job is perfect for those who are looking for a long term career and find themselves a bit of a handyman. Each Project ranges from 1-3 days and are located all around Melbourne. Need to also have a care and passion of doing things properly. Also need to be comfortable working on pitched roofs and on ladders.

**We also are casually looking for**:Underfloor and Ceiling Insulation Installer (Straightforward work, rock up and get the job done and get paid for the day even if you finish sooner. Need to be comfortable working in confined spaces, on your back, knees etc) Quality Workmanship Expected for Above Award Rates

**Start Date**:Flexible Start Date (Mid Jan/Feb)

What is wall cavity blow-in insulation.
Older homes need insulation in their walls, we provide this service by using specalised machinery by filling the wall cavity with glasswool blow-in insulation. Ensuring correct density of the material we are pumping in by doing calculations and by using our professional thermal cameras we are able to verify and ensure that the walls are fully insulated

Tasks involved:

- Use of power tools (masonary drills, power drills, circular saws etc)
- Patching of plasterwork
- Re-mortaring of holes
- Use of specalised equipment (thermal camera, endoscope etc)
- Working on pitched roofs
- Use of safety equipment (Harnesses etc)
- Working on ladders at height
- Crawling in subfloor spaces to block up the walls prior to installing the new insulation
- Crawling in roof cavities in order to blow some areas of walls/ceilings
- Use of knives to cut and fit insulation
- Locking out Electrical Switchboards
- Patching of weatherboards
- Maintenance of machinery and tools
- Cleaning up work sites post insulation
- Maintaining the truck, keeping it clean etc.

Otherwork may include:
Install of Polyester Insulation in Underfloor Spaces

Removal of Old Insulation

Vacuuming of Ceilings using Industrial Heavy Duty HEPA Vacs

Maintenance of machines

Install of Knauf Earthwool Ceiling Insulation

Use of Machinary to Install New Insulation in Cavities

Pay: Probation Period of 6 months, first 4 weeks at $30ph then to $35ph casual.

at 6 months will be offered a full time contract with performance bonus if you are the right fit for our company

PPE will be provided for you at every job.

You must have:

- White Card
- Basic Work Uniform : boots, pants, shirt (a uniform will be provided post 2 week cool off period)

We are looking for full time workers (4-5 days a week).

The day starts at 630 am at the warehouse (Epping 3076) and generally runs to 3pm

Looking for those who are practical and can pick up new skills easily. Insulation understanding or keen to learn is important.

Our expectations is that quality and customer service is #1. We pay above award rates for this line of work but expect consistent and quality workmanship in return. Being on time, and communication is essential.
