Join our dynamic team as a Category Coordinator and take your career to the next level In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Category Manager to create and execute an innovative, shopper-focused trade plan tailored to specific channels. You’ll play a key role in driving success, managing everything from product ranges and pricing to promotions and supplier relationships. **In this Role**
- Support the category manager in delivering on retail sales and income budget and drive improvements in Cost of Goods (COGS)
- Support Trading Managers in all aspects of day-to-day sourcing, pricing, promotion, costing and supplier management activities
- Support Trading Manager with analysis on category management activities
- Check and via MDG process all relevant paperwork as per required timelines, including promotions, new lines, new line data, deletions, supplier changes, price changes, pallet configurations, product amendments
- Manage the category promotional using MetProms
- Analyse and provide insight for sales and income opportunities (for Metcash and Retailers) on suppliers and competitors

**You’re Likely a Match If**
- Experience in (or a strong understanding) of Retail and/or FMCG
- Using data and analytic skills in Excel, Power BI, CRMs/planning tools, and Circana (or industry similar tool)
- In depth knowledge of Category Management, 4P principles and Shopper Insights
- Customer-oriented and team-driven, with a proven ability to influence both internal teams and external stakeholders within a matrix structure.
- Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of how it drives success in Category Management
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage priorities under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
