Domestic Cleaner - NDIS Home Cleaning

**POSITION OUTLINE**

**Casual position.**

Kuremara is seeking friendly domestic cleaners. We provide services throughout Greater Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and Redlands area.

Kuremara provides a wide range of services, programs, and support for people with disabilities, we have over 10 years of experience in leading the delivery of primary health care services in Rural Queensland. We bring together a diverse set of skills from a wide variety of healthcare backgrounds to provide quality support services for our participants.

**About the Role**

We are looking for Domestic Assistants to join our team. Our Domestic Assistants/cleaners provide essential cleaning services to our clients maintaining and enhancing their homes, their standard of living, and reducing health and safety risks

Duties will include, but not limited to - decluttering, general domestic tasks - including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washing, ironing, changing bed linen, window cleaning and supporting customers within their home with specific tasks.

**Essential Skills and Experiences**:

- Current Driver’s License and reliable Vehicle
- Previous cleaning experience
- Respectful communication skills
- Client / Customer focused
- Ability to follow a set Task List
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to perform home care tasks
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Caring Nature toward people
- Ability to show empathy to clients and assist to maintain their personal dignity
- Understanding of boundaries required to maintain professional relationships with clients
- Ability to work independently

**Requirements**:

- 1 Year of cleaning Experience (preferred)
- Current Driver's License and reliable transport
- Yellow Card - NDIS Workers Screening Clearance - can help obtain
- Blue Card - Working with Children Check - can help obtain
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- National Police Clearance
- Smart phone - to read roster

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28 - $32 per hour
