**Position Overview**:
This position is for an experienced GP Medical Receptionist.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service
- Attend to patients both on the phone and in person in a caring and supportive manner
- Liaise with GP's, other health professionals and their staff
- Type documents as required
- Coordinate and organise appointments and other documentation as required
- Provide support to the practice manager as needed

**Required Skills**:

- Minimum of 1 years GP Medical Reception Experience
- Must be available to work any shift
- Best Practice Software experience desirable
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environment
- Self-Driven and can demonstrate a genuine pride in all work produced
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
- Ability to effectively handle difficult situations
- Excellent interpersonal skills

This position consists of working hours Monday-Friday including occasional weekends. Above award rate offered. Staff discounts on beauty products.
