This role will provide an important link between community engagement and health services. You will put your creativity to work and find innovative ways to deliver health messages that help improve the wellbeing of people living with a respiratory condition.

You will work as part of the Community Engagement Team to deliver great supporter experiences as well as with our Respiratory Health Team to develop resources for service users and health professionals.

No two days will be the same with a wide variety of projects that you will help deliver. This will include developing cause related content for a range of uses including social media, website, eDMs and fundraising, plus collateral development, event coordination and fundraising support.

**About you**

Experience working in a similar role in a Not-for-Profit organisation will be highly regarded but is not essential.

You will love writing and content development and be a social media expert.

You will also pride yourself on being an excellent communicator and listener, with the ability to multitask and with a hunger to learn and grow.

**About the Organisation**

One in nine Australians have asthma and one in four children will develop the condition in their childhood. It’s likely someone close to you has asthma, but you just don’t talk about it.

If not identified and well managed, asthma can severely affect a person’s quality of life, impacting them physically, socially and emotionally. Symptoms can go from mild to life threatening in a matter of minutes, and worse still, asthma can and does, take the lives of people we love.

Asthma WA is a Western Australian charity that has been providing FREE tailored education and support programs to the community for more than 55 years. We work with individuals and the community to better understand and manage asthma - helping people to live their best lives with confidence.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
