NBCS is seeking to employ a fulltime general hand to join our Support Services (property) team. Our state-of-the-art campus provides facilities for students and teachers to excel and enable our School vision, ‘Love Learning’.

**Reporting to the Support Services Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Maintenance: general repairs and maintenance of property, plant and equipment, lights, doors, handles, locks, playground.
- Grounds: upkeep and general cleaning of grounds and environs; rubbish collection, external facades, building internals. Completing maintenance schedule.
- Oval & Lawns: mowing, edging.
- Events: setting up/packing of chairs, tables, stage, equipment, gazebos and other requirements for School and other functions.
- Security: locking & unlocking of the school and conducting vandalism inspections.
- Deliveries: accepting and deploying suppliers’ deliveries.
- Stocktake: undertaking stocktake of equipment and supplies and ordering as needed.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

- An understanding of general building maintenance (Trade qualifications will be well-regarded) working in a school environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and pay attention to detail.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Computer skills and experience working with maintenance management systems.
- A working knowledge of WHS, manual handling procedures and promotes and safe work environment.
- Willingness to assist with maintaining the presentation of campus to a high standard.

Requirements also include:

- A Working with Children Check Clearance.
- An active Christian faith (non-negotiable) with church involvement
