The Role
Our Crestmead dairy site near Logan, south of Brisbane, manufactures and distributes a range of milk and milk-based products made with fresh milk sourced directly from 35 dairy farms in the southeast Queensland region. Producing around 100 million litres of product per year, this site operates six days per week and has a supportive and high-performance site culture.
We have 2 vacancies for enthusiastic and self-motivated Manufacturing Team Members to join our team at Crestmead. This is permanent full-time opportunities on a 2 week day shift roster with each day starting 6AM finishing 2.30PM working Monday - Friday week 1 and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday week 2. Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, these roles support the production and delivery of milk-based products, of the highest quality to our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Machine Operation - filling, packaging, and labelling- Proactively anticipating issues on the line and identifying solutions- Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production-related documents- Adhering to and recording company safety and quality policies and procedures- Contributing as a team player and sharing knowledge willingly- Actively seek development to continuously learn and participate in continuous improvement programs at the site
About you- Competent and licensed forklift operator- Computer literate - Word & Excel- Basic knowledge of problem solving- FMCG manufacturing process knowledge (ideal)- Interpersonal skills for dealing with fellow team members
