**About the business**

A contract manufacturing business in the animal health industry located in the Hawkesbury area seeks a production operator to work in their liquid/pastes and powder blending sections for IMMEDIATE START.

**About the role**

Duties include
- Batch manufacturing and mixing of raw materials
- Packing products
- Labelling
- Operating a forklift
- General Housekeeping duties
- Previous experience within the pharmaceutical, food or FMCG industry
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills. Good command of English
- Must be physically fit and able to regularly lift up to 25kg
- Ability to follow written instructions and complete batch documentation
- OK with getting their hands dirty

We are offering a permanent position after a qualifying period.

**Skills and Experience**
- MUST have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment - minimum 2 years
- Preferably, have experience working for a pharmaceutical or veterinary business
- Very clear communication skills, both verbal and written
- Some understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Must be physically fit Will have to lift up to 25kgs.
- Forklift experience required

Australian National or Permanent Residence or Work Visa holders only need apply

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- High School (Year 12) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
