The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for coordinating their teams achievement of CW Retail’s organisational objectives, by working closely with key stakeholders and providing guidance and advice on internal and external selection processes as well as on all aspects of recruitment from advertising, assessment to onboarding, transfers and alternative options for filling vacancies. The team is a responsive, trusted and reliable partner who provides valued advice and services to employees at all levels.

The primary focus and responsibilities of this role are:
**Team Management**:

- Serve as an escalation point for the Talent Acquisition and Early Careers Team and for recruitment matters across the organisation.
- Manage team resources and contribute to the overall planning and performance of the Talent Acquisition & Early Learning Teams.

**Advisory and Coaching**:

- Offer practical recommendations and solutions to hiring managers on recruitment strategies.
- Align recruitment efforts with business objectives and support workforce planning.
- Guide hiring managers on recruitment management through the connectme platform.

**Recruitment Management**:

- Design and deliver recruitment training programs to enhance leadership capabilities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create job advertisements that align with technical requirements and company culture.

**Reporting and Analytics**:

- Utilise reporting tools in connectme to generate statistical reports for timely updates to leadership.

**Compliance and Process Improvement**:

- Ensure accuracy of position descriptions and lead projects to modernize recruitment experiences.
- Maintain up-to-date recruitment documentation and correspondence.

**Building Leadership Capability**:

- Coach and mentor managers on effective talent acquisition practices and connectme usage.
- Deliver training programs to enhance recruitment knowledge.

**Teamwork and Collaboration**:

- Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders across CW Retail.
- Promote a collaborative work environment and contribute to achieving team objectives

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in a generalist Talent Acquisition role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business (Human Resources) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in advising and coaching business leaders on HR practices.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in IT and general computer skills.

- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive with a strong desire to achieve results.
- Adaptable to changing environments and able to manage multiple priorities.
