GJK is currently seeking people to join us in the position of Cleaning Supervisor, based at our Berwick location.

Monday to Friday 2am - 6am

Description:
About the Role:
You will be required to provide consistent and high-quality cleaning services to GJK Facility Services client contracts.

You will be required to perform tasks using a range of materials and equipment, to clean a range of surfaces in order to restore or maintain buildings in a clean and hygienic condition and who can:

- work from complex instructions and procedures;and
- assist in the provision of on-the-job training;and
- co-ordinate the work of cleaning staff and generally superintend the activity of all the building cleaners as a building supervisor; and
- are responsible for ensuring the quality of their work;and
- have a knowledge of the employer’s operation.

Duties include, but are not limited to;
- ensuring that proper maintenance procedures for building plant and equipment are observed;or
- arranging service calls to ensure that the site is operating correctly;or
- dealing with tenants or owners with respect to the proper cleaning,servicing or functioning of the building;or
- co-ordinating the work of leading hands;or
- handling routine personnel,industrial relations or health and safety matters;or
- being directly involved in the provision of on-the-job training.

Skills and Experiences:
Minimum Criteria:

- At least 2 years supervisory experience in cleaning operations; domestic, commercial or industrial
- Current Police Clearance no older than 6 months or willing to obtain
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Self motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
- Professional presentation and customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining full vaccination is required.
