Robert Half have partnered with a large manufacturing organisation with a strong foothold in the Perth market. They are dedicated to providing exceptional products and services.
Currently, they are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their team for a 9-month maternity leave vacancy.
This role is looking to start in the next week, so you must be immediately available, or available within a few days notice.
**The Role**
- Efficient processing of accounts payable invoices within specified time lines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Conduct thorough matching of invoices with purchase orders and packing slips to validate authenticity.
- Proactively address and resolve any discrepancies or issues pertaining to invoices, purchase orders, or payments.
- Maintain comprehensive vendor files and serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of vendor statements and promptly address any outstanding balances or discrepancies.
- Execute weekly payment runs in accordance with payment terms and company protocols.
**Your Profile**
- Previous experience in accounts payable, ideally within the manufacturing or related sectors.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and invoice processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with vendors and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving invoice discrepancies.
