**Your Next Opportunity**
You will be responsible for setting the high standards of care and experiences for our children and professionalism for educators. Under the direction of the Nominated Supervisor and Approved Provider, you will contribute to the overall success of the centre by managing smooth operational performance and ensuring centre obligations are met with regard to relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
Day to day duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Nominated Supervisor to provide leadership and management to educators regarding all aspects of the operation of the service in line with relevant regulations and procedures
- Inspire and mentor educators regarding implementation of and compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations, National Quality Standards and approved learning frameworks
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators and staff to deliver best outcomes for families and children
- Supporting families with their queries, including account queries
**What You’ll Bring to the Team**
To be considered for this position, you should have at least a Diploma in Early Childhood Education as well as some demonstrated experience in a leadership role where you have been proactive in the running of your room or service.
You will need to ensure the service **operates in full compliance under legislative and regulatory requirements**. Your highly developed computer and written skills will ensure you can **maintain accurate and up-to-date reports** regarding observations, programming, and tracking the developmental milestones of children attending the centre.
Strong experience using OWNA is an advantage.
Other requirements include:
- A Valid Working with Children Check
- Current ACECQA-approved first aid and CPR certification
- Accredited child protection training
- Evidence of completed qualification or qualifications in progress
- Willingness and ability to accept the role of Responsible Person under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Care Services National Regulations
**Salary**: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
