Description:
Job Summary: The Associate Consultant I works within a team of professionals responsible for designing, developing and testing solutions with SPS customers. This role will manage the delivery of our services with customers and act as the primary technical contact until the customer is successfully flowing electronic data in production. Core responsibilities also include performing testing and configuration of a system that supports electronic data flow between business retailers and their network of suppliers.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties
- Perform and/or manage post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products
- Execute installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration as part of completing implementation project
- Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals
- Keep customer and other stakeholders informed of project progress
- Track progress of Implementation project(s), ensuring deadlines are met
- Possess and maintain a high level of industry and retailer specific business knowledge
- Train customers on best practices for partner compliance and product usage

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Demonstrated technical aptitude

Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with XML a plus
- Prior technical or project management work experience and some prior (low level) programming experience
- General understanding of the concept of e-commerce and electronic data interchange (EDI)
