**What You Will Be Doing**

Your role will also involve participating in functional release testing and collaborating with developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software within defined timelines and budgets. You will be required to adhere to IT frameworks such as SDLC and governance protocols, ensuring all activities meet coding, security, and deployment standards. Moreover, you will contribute to maintaining a strong team culture of agility and respect while prioritizing health and safety in the workplace.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Performing release testing and managing configuration tasks to ensure system functionality.
- Coordinating and supporting the implementation of LIS modules in collaboration with laboratory disciplines, ensuring smooth deployment and go-live activities.
- Assisting laboratory users in troubleshooting issues, identifying solutions, and advising them on the outcomes.
- Participating in functional release testing and collaborating with developers to ensure high-quality software delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
- Adhering to IT frameworks such as SDLC and governance protocols to ensure compliance with coding, security, and deployment standards.
- Contributing to a strong team culture that values agility, respect, and efficiency.
- Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed, maintaining a safe environment for all.

Ideally you would come from a laboratory or medical background.

- Clinical Expertise: Previous experience working in a clinical pathology laboratory environment, with extensive use of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking and fault-finding abilities, utilizing clinical knowledge to resolve software issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder relationships and provide clear, effective support.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams, fostering a team culture of respect and efficiency.
- Independence & Time Management: Ability to work independently while adhering to defined processes, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Confidentiality & Compliance: Strong attention to detail in maintaining the confidentiality of patient and organizational information, adhering to all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Experience working in a clinical pathology laboratory environment.
- Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), with experience in the Ultra LIS being an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and independently within defined processes.
