Disability Support Worker Positions Available in Southeast Queensland, Caboolture, Sunshine Coast and Surrounding areas at Esteem Care Services

Are you driven by a desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Esteem Care Services is looking for compassionate individuals to fill multiple Casual full-time Disability Support Worker roles in Cairns.

Your Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll be integral to our mission, helping clients lead fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities include:
Personal care assistance

Emotional support and companionship

Meal prep and dietary management

Help with daily activities and household chores

Escorting clients to appointments and community activities

We Need You to Have:
Relevant qualifications or current studies in a related field

A valid Blue Card and NDIS Screening Card

First Aid & CPR certifications

A valid Driver's License (front and back)

Proof of working rights

Covid Vaccination Certificate and a clean Criminal History Check

Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module

Comprehensive Car Insurance (if driving for work)

Experience in disability support or a similar role

Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills

Availability for various shifts, including weekends and evenings

**Job Types**: Casual, Contract

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
