Maxima, in partnership with Fremantle Ports, are looking for a motivated individual to undertake an entry-level apprenticeship to kickstart their engineering career This is also an opportunity for those entering their 2nd or 3rd year and are looking for a host to complete their apprenticeship.

Fremantle Ports manage the Inner and Outer Harbour Ports. The Inner Harbour, located within Fremantle, facilitates all container trade including livestock, motor vehicles and cruise ships. The Outer Harbour, based at Kwinana, is a bulk cargo port servicing cement clinker, mineral sand, fertiliser, petroleum, and other commodities.

This role will see you working out of the Kwinana Outer Harbour assisting to undertake maintenance inspections and repairs for any relevant mechanical equipment and machinery.

Across 4-years gain paid, hands-on industry experience and study time towards achieving a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical, **as well as all relevant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and mentoring from a dedicated Maxima Consultant.

**Duties Include**:

- Perform preventative maintenance, service, and repairs
- Read, interpret, and follow instructions and engineering terminology
- Assemble and fit fabricated products
- Diagnostics of faults and troubleshooting
- Use of specialised equipment and tools
