**Job overview**:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in our project execution and maintenance activities. You will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of machinery, helping us meet project deadlines and maintain our reputation for exceptional workmanship.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design changes and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role in an industrial or engineering setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus.
