Steel-Line is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will be working in a clean exciting fast paced environment with the focus on the state-of-the-art automation equipment using your experience and fitting skills whilst learning modern technology like roll-forming, pressing, punching and other metal joining and packaging processes.

Working out of the Darra site, the successful incumbent will need the following.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 to 15 years fitting experience
• Trade qualified.
• Be opened minded to work on new and exciting technology.
• Be able to maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns and embrace preventative maintenance methodologies.
• Have sound mechanical / technical fitting experience.
• Tooling/Die set experience highly desirable but not essential.
• Roll-form machinery maintenance experience highly desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics
• Basic workshop skills including welding and machining
• Excellent communicator and willing to collaborate with team and site Engineers.
• Forklift license essential.

This is a dayshift shift role with shift hours being from 8am - 4.06pm – negotiable.
