**About the Role**
Reporting to the CFO of Northern Beaches Hospital, this role provides financial partnership, advice and analysis to the Hospital Executive Team to enable both commercial performance and the Hospital’s growth strategy. This is a ‘hands-on’ role and it is envisaged that the successful applicant will enjoy the challenges of a diverse yet fulfilling role in an exciting environment that is constantly evolving. This role is based at the Northern Beaches Hospital, located in Frenchs Forest.

**As a FP & A Manager your responsibilities will include**:
Prepare and deliver the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts and weekly forecasts to the CFO, Executive Team members and Head Office.
Analyse performance results and ensure KPIs are met whilst providing support to the CFO and Executive Team on the achievement of budget parameters
Communicate to stakeholders and provide leadership to the FP&A Analyst and other team members in the pursuit of a high performing team
Manage projects and provide advice on cost control and business modelling to promote growth
Liaise with department leads to support and identify opportunities to use resources more efficiently, improve performance and grow the business.

**Selection Criteria**:

- CPA/CA Qualifications or equivalent Tertiary degree
- Data manipulation and analysis
- Accounting systems including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll etc.
- Report and business case writing and presentation
- Budget management and KPIs
- Change management
- Experience in Hospital or Healthcare environment (desired)
- Demonstrates a keen understanding of basic business operations and the organisational levers that drive profitable growth; draws from personal experience to quickly evaluate business plans and processes
- Previous managerial experience in overseeing the running of a department including staff training, reporting and data analysis
- Solid team management and conflict management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas to individuals and groups;
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
