Join our team as an enthusiastic and experienced **Assistant Coordinator/Educational Leader** In this dynamic role, you’ll take charge of ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of key areas within our service, including opening and closing as the responsible person in charge. This position offers a rewarding balance of hands-on and administrative duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Mentoring and supporting staff
- Overseeing and enhancing the program
- Building strong connections with the community
- Managing office administration tasks
- Maintaining and updating the QIP & SIP and service policies
- Delivering in-house staff training

**Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications**

We are seeking a dedicated professional who:

- Has experience working directly with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Can collaborate effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour with staff, families, and children.
- Is knowledgeable in developing programs aligned with the _My Time, Our Place_ (MTOP) framework and National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Has experience mentoring and guiding staff to build a strong and cohesive team.

**Essential Qualifications and Certifications**:
To be considered for this role, you must hold or be willing to obtain:

- A _Diploma in Children’s Services_ or an equivalent qualification, as per the requirements of the **Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations**.
- A valid _Working with Children Check_ (Suitability Card).
- Current certifications in _Senior First Aid_, _CPR_, _Emergency Asthma Management_, and _Anaphylaxis Training_, in compliance with childcare regulations.
- A _National Police Check_, ensuring suitability for working with children.

**Job Type and Category**

This is a **permanent full-time position** with remuneration based on the **Parents & Citizens Associations Award 2016**. The annual base salary ranges from **$76,463 to $79,650**, depending on your qualifications and experience.

**Work Schedule**:

- Be available Monday to Friday during operational hours, which include 6:00 am - 10:00 am and/or 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, with some day shifts starting at 10:00 am.
- During Vacation Care periods, shifts will be rostered within the service's operating hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with approximately 7.6 hours worked per shift.
