Disability Support Workers

Blue Heart Community Care are currently seeking passionate Disability Support workers to provide exceptional support to our participants across the Traralgon
Role & Responsibilities:
Ø To provide high-quality support to individuals in their home and the community at all times.
Ø To Provide exceptional care to meet individual needs.
Ø To administer medication as required following all BHCC policies and procedures (educational opportunities to upskill available).
Ø Coordinate and conduct programs/activities which support individuals to achieve their goals as stated in their Individual Support Plan.
- Ø To maintain a safe and secure environment for the day to day activities within an individual's home and or in the community.
- Ø Respect, protect, and promote the human rights obligations of the organisation.
Mandatory Requirements:
1. Current Police Check
- 2. Current First Aid Level II and CPR
- 3. Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
4. Eligibility to Work in Australia Current Victorian driver’s license and Own vehicle
5. Medication administration Training (highly desirable)
6. NDIS Screening Check
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $31.00 - $45.00 per hour
