We are seeking a Diploma qualified, Early Childhood Educator to ensure the provision of a high-quality, innovative educational program that meets the individual needs of children aged from birth to 6 years at Joyce Avenue Children's Centre, Greensborough.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will provide a high-quality, innovative educational program that meets the individual needs of children aged from birth to six years. You’ll ensure the care and education program aligns with the Early Childhood Services Philosophy, whilst ensuring a child-safe environment and contributing to a culture of child safety by fulfilling the responsibilities and requirements of Council’s Child Safe Policy and procedures.

You’ll work in a supportive team, collaborating with families to ensure each child's individual needs are met, building strong relationships with the team, children, and families.

- being is prioritised, you’ll be vigilant in identifying and responding to any potential risks, maintain clear policies on child protection, and adhere to guidelines that promote safety and respect.

**What you'll bring - skills, experience and certificates**:

- Skills and Experience: _
- Early Childhood Qualification as recognised under Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 - Diploma.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
- Current, recognised Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, with CPR updates completed in the last 12 months.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mandatory Reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development theories.
- Ability to maintain records and write reports relating to program goals and child development.

**Mandatory Pre-employment screenings**:

- Drivers license.
- Medical Check.
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
- Working with Children’s Check.
