Modeller/drafter - Structures

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results driven experienced **Senior Drafter/Modeller **, to join our **Structures **team in **Newcastle **. This role is ideal for someone with career aspirations eager to work across multiple projects as part of a highly regarded and diverse multi-disciplinary team. Using your technical background across BIM, CAD and other digital tools, this exciting career opportunity to support a range of major infrastructure and building projects.

Partnering with other technical design professionals, within a truly collaborative multi-disciplinary environment, you will support diverse projects that will both challenge and reward you. As a key member of our highly successful team you will:

- Play a lead role in delivering projects effectively and efficiently to GHD and client standards.
- Collaborate with multidiscipline teams both internally and externally to deliver complex projects.
- Embrace the benefits of advances in software to innovate and improve existing systems and develop new project delivery solutions.
- Monitor consistency and quality of modelling and documentation of project teams.
- Contribute to proposals for winning work, including marketing material and other business development initiatives
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff, and assist in developing knowledge across other disciplines, design teams and market sectors in GHD

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Highly motivated with 8 + years relevant experience working in a buildings environment
- High level of attention to detail when modelling and a producing project documentation
- Sound knowledge of relevant Australian standards and codes
- Experience in a range of modelling packages including Revit, AutoCAD.
- Ability to create positive relationships and influence others
- Team player, cooperates effectively with others through open sharing of knowledge and information
- Knowledge of coding using dynamo, python and other programming languages is highly desirable
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work cohesively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
