About the Role
We are looking for a Packing Operator to join our Team at Northam. This is an entry-level role within our Flour Milling division. This role will work in accordance with a rotating roster shift pattern which includes a Morning and Afternoon shift.
This is a hands-on role where you will set up, troubleshoot, and optimise the line to meet set targets, KPI's and quality standards to ensure that our products are made to a high-quality standard in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.

**This role will**:

- Operating machinery safely and efficiently, according to Standard Operating
- Competitive hourly rate with a rotating shift pattern
- Meeting quality and food safety policies and procedures
- Using appropriate PPE to work in a safe manner, following manual handling techniques and adhering to site safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in production when required to meet daily production targets.
- Ensure all daily packing shift reports are accurately completed.
- Continuous improvement focussed on safety, quality, service levels and cost.
- Provide developmental support and mentoring throughout the learning process.

- Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (BRC) would be an advantage.
