**What does the role look like?**
- Full creative freedom within your program
- Ensuring a safe environment is maintained
- Management of your termly budget to help you plan and execute fun and engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of the children.
- Managing observations and compliance checks
- Rostering staff
- Managing food preparations and purchasing
- Running Games, Crafts, Arts, Sports and Cooking Activities
- Becoming part of the community by developing relationships with children, families and the school.
- Experience dealing with complex behaviours

**Essential Criteria**:

- Prior experience working as a Coordinator in Before and After School care is desirable (2+ years)
- Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework
- Diploma or above in any of the Children's Services qualifications (ACECQA approved)
- Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID004 was superseded by HLTAID012 mandatory)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (SITXFSA005 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety + SITXFSA006 Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices mandatory)
- Hold a valid SA Working With Children check (Employee)
- Police Check (issued within the last 6 months or willing to obtain)
- Right to Work in Australia
