**Job description**

Icebergs Dining Room & Bar is arguably one of the most iconic restaurants in Australia perched on the cliff front overlooking the most famous beach in the world sits our two hat fine dining restaurant & bar.

We are looking for experienced professionals who thrive in service, love providing an unmatched guest experience and keen to continue honing their skills within the hospitality industry.

**Tasks include**:
1. setting and arranging tables;
2. taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists;
3. recommending dishes and wines to complement;
4. taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff;
5. serving food and beverages;
6. opening bottles and pouring beverages including mixing liquor and assisting in the cellar;
7. clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen;
8. removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses;
9. collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bondi Beach, NSW 2026: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience required**:

- Certificate III in Hospitality (Restaurant Front of House), **or**
- equivalent qualification as assessed by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) AND at least 12 months relevant work experience (Note: 12 months relevant work experience is additional to job placements during course of study), **or**
- At least 18 months’ relevant work experience in Australia on a temporary visa, **or**
- At least two (2) years’ relevant experience.
