Supervisor

Land Development, Bulk Earthworks and Drainage

$115k - $125k per annum + Super + Vehicle

Adelaide, South Australia

Cranfield Group is representing a mid-tier civil contractor with a focus on land development, bulk earthworks and drainage projects valued between $1M - $10M.

They are looking for an experienced Supervisor with a heavy civil background, ideally in subdivisions, to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage on-site crews in delivering land development, bulk earthworks and drainage projects
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality
- Liaise with Project Managers and subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered to their satisfaction
- Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project progress and providing regular reports to senior management
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Take a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement in project delivery and suggest solutions

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a Supervisor role within the civil construction industry, with a focus on land development, bulk earthworks and/or drainage
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate on-site crews
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- HC and Truck license preferred
- The ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously
- A strong focus on safety and quality
- The ability to identify areas for improvement in project delivery and suggest solutions
