An exciting opportunity exists for a **Temporary Part time - Level 3 Dietician - Quick Access Response Team** to join the team at Shoalhaven Hospital with the possibility of extension / permanency.

**What you'll be doing**

The position provides a specialised clinical service to patients/client/consumers across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. The position will provide high quality inpatient and/or outpatient for referred patients/clients/consumers and act as a consultant for health professionals in the area of Allied Health: Nutrition & Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology and Exercise Physiology.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra and Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has bed base of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

**COVID-19 Vaccination Compliance**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligible for membership of professional association for disciplines not requiring AHPRA registration.
- Experience in aged care/community including recognising and managing deteriorating or vulnerable patients.
- Demonstrated high-level problem solving, time management, and prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team and/or interdisciplinary team.
