**We are seeking an experienced dispensary technician to work on weekdays/weekends in a busy wholesale pharmacy.**

Dispensary Technicians are responsible and accountable for efficient and accurate dispensing of medicines and packing of dosage administration aids, and administrative support in the dispensary.

**What’s required to be a Dispensary Technician?**
- Completion or enrolment in Cert III and IV in Community Pharmacy
- A precise attention to detail - a knack for administration is the key to success
- Proven experience in working with a broad range of roles and responsibilities

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Dispensary Manager, the Dispensary Technician is solution focused and works ‘behind the counter’ to compile medicine orders for patients, manage stock and correctly follow all policy and procedure. Key responsibilities include:

- Replenish stock and coordinate stock movement into the dispensary
- Prepare prescriptions in a timely manner
- Pack Dose Administration Aids
- Attend all required meetings
- Make recommendations to customers at times, within your training level and experience
