**The Organisation**

The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is a state-wide Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) servicing children, young people, families, and community members. The largest of its kind in Australia.

We have protected and promoted the rights of Aboriginal children and families for over 40 years.

**About the role**

This role is the primary contact point for hiring managers and coordinates the recruitment processes in an end-to-end recruitment model.

You will be responsible for keeping abreast of organisational workforce issues, especially in relation to the recruitment of Indigenous people and timely response to recruitment requests.

**About You**
- Awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures along with awareness of the key issues which impact upon Aboriginal communities and commitment to continually build knowledge of such
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of the values that underpin VACCA’s vision and purpose.
- Substantial years of proven experience in a recruitment function with a demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment, preferably in the Not-for-Profit Sector
- Proficient in using Application Tracking System, preferably PageUp
- Great interpersonal skills, time management, and commitment to high-quality customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast paced environment.
- A working understanding of the Equal Opportunity Act, Discrimination Act, and Fair Work Act and how they relate to the recruitment function is essential.
