As a Compliance Manager in the Conduct Compliance & Ethics team within the Compliance Risk Management function, you will provide end-to-end compliance advice, validation, challenge, and support to stakeholders covering Wholesale Banking and Treasury. Your compliance advisory service will be called upon to support end-to-end business activities that have a compliance impact including product development and review, risk assessments, ad-hoc advisory, as well as global policy and regulatory implementation.

In this role, you will also support Compliance in pro-actively developing, managing and maintaining a best practice compliance framework, and enhancing systems and processes to ensure that ING is compliant by desire and design.

**What you’ll do**
- Assist Wholesale Banking and Treasury to remain in compliance with applicable laws, industry standards and internal policies.
- Promote and maintain an effective and sustainable compliance culture.
- Provide compliance advice to Wholesale Banking and Treasury stakeholders in their day-to-day business.
- Contribute towards completion of regulatory and business-related compliance reporting.
- Work with ASIC breach reporting team to assess and investigate incidents in wholesale banking and treasury.

**What we’re looking for**
- Knowledge of Australian legal, regulatory and industry code obligations relevant to Wholesale Banking and Treasury products and services.
- 5+ Years Legal, Compliance, Risk or Audit experience in Wholesale Banking and Treasury environments.
- Ability to understand and research compliance and legal issues.
- Demonstrated capacity to interpret and translate obligations into practical and workable policies and guidelines.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to negotiate with all levels of management to influence decisions, make recommendations and implement change.
- Degree qualified in accounting, commerce, law or related discipline.
