**About the Role**

As a Social Innovation Partner at icare NSW, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovation strategies that align with our goal to empower individuals and communities for a better tomorrow. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and addressing challenges faces by those we serve and our schemes, fostering collaboration, and leading initiatives that contribute to the overall wellbeing of the people of NSW and sustainability of the schemes that have been set up to support them.

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a **Social Innovation Partner** your key responsibilities will include:
**Strategic Leadership**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation strategy that aligns with icare NSW’s mission to generate positive outcomes for those we serve
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on innovation opportunities and potential impacts

**Program management**:

- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and evaluation of innovation programs.
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with NSW government standards.

**Collaboration and partnership building**:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, government agencies, service providers, non-profits, and community stakeholders to enhance the impact of innovation initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate innovation principles into existing programs and services.

**Research and analysis**:

- Stay abreast of social, economic, and environmental trends and issues relevant to the communities served by icare.
- Conduct research to assess the feasibility and potential impact of proposed innovation initiatives (including the utilisation of SCBA and BEA methodologies to communicate how initiatives support the sustainability of schemes)

**Metrics and evaluation**:

- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluation frameworks to measure the success and impact of innovation initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve and refine innovation programs.

**Communication and advocacy**:

- Develop and implement communication strategies to increase awareness of social innovation initiatives both internally and externally.
- Advocate for the importance of social innovation within icare NSW and the broader community.

**Skills & Experience**
- Shaping and running complex programs and/or innovative initiatives, with demonstrated experience in best-practice program design and management methodologies
- Experience and understanding of impact measurement frameworks and evaluation tools (including quantitative data analysis, SCBA and qualitative research)
- Strong financial, analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Knowledge of the issues affecting communities in NSW that have an impact on icare schemes
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant field such as Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Social Impact will be highly regarded
