**About the role**:
CSR are seeking a dynamic and influential Transport Planner/Allocator to join our centralised team based in Ingleburn.
As the Regional Transport Planner, you will be responsible for implementing our transport operational planning strategy to create a streamlined, cost-effective distribution network. Your insights will drive strategic operational changes that benefit both CSR and our customers.
**In this role you will**:

- Develop and execute the regional transport operational plan to enhance service delivery and safety.
- Analyze current transport networks and identify areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with business objectives.
- Implement best practices in transport operations to reduce costs while improving service levels.
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, providing regular reports to management on progress and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine operational strategies continuously.

**What you bring to the role**:

- 3+ years Transport Management Systems and/or operational planning processes
- Demonstrated operational experience and knowledge of transport processes, compliance, and planning or in a similar role ideally working with bulky goods or building materials
- Good commercial acumen and problem-solving capability to determine the optimal solution or priority
- Working knowledge of the transport industry, transport equipment and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction in the region
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills to enable effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders and partners to deliver customer-focused outcomes
