**About this role**

This is an exciting chance to join our established Transport Planning team based in Brisbane as part of our wider Consulting business. We are currently seeking to expand our team as we continue to deliver impact in the Queensland market. This presents an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic transport professionals to work across a wide range of city shaping projects for both public and private sector clients. In addition to local projects, you will have the opportunity to work on projects throughout Australia and internationally.
**What will I do?**
- You will be required to work with mínimal supervision in your area of responsibility, and you may be accountable for defined parts of design projects
- You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of your work
- You will represent your team or area at internal meetings and you may be responsible for organising events, activities or small internal business projects
- You will assist others with their work and ensure that deadlines are met.
**What will I bring?**
- Excellent understanding and passion for transport planning and good design in Queensland and Australia.
- Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, geography, economics, planning, or a similar area.
- Relevant industry experience in transport planning, traffic engineering, planning for low emissions technology and mobility, walking, cycling, bus operations, and public realm enhancements within a consulting business environment.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines - including Arup's related procedures (including OH&S)
