Let’s talk about this role
As a Policy Administration Specialist you will be responsible for providing administrative and organisational support through ensuring the health of nib’s customer policies. This is done through effective, efficient and accurate processing of policyholder information.
You will initially provide accurate and timely data entry, then transitioning to providing more technical support for complex policy and legislation enquiries and activities.
More specifically you will:
- Processing high volumes of data- Communicate, both written and verbal, with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and other Health Insurers- Accurately and efficiently process customer policy information exceptions, manual customer policy information, and other related functions including:
- Transfer Certificate Requests- Failed joins online, broker joins and amendments- Failed correspondence fulfilment- Accurately calculate Lifetime Health (LHC) refunds for members and provide detailed responses to members- Accurately and efficiently action complex member policy information exceptions. Including remediating compliance issues that affect member’s policies
Let’s talk about you
You consider yourself a motivated self-starter with experience in a similar administration and/or data entry role. You will be able to think outside the box with complex scenario’s and determine what legislation applies and when. You’re savvy with technology and eager to investigate why the system is coming up with errors and problem solve to fix it.
Furthermore, you will have:
- Competent on Lifetime Health Cover Loading & Australian Government Rebate entitlements- High data entry skills- Sound knowledge of processes Health Insurance documents- High knowledge of Excel- Ability to break down the complex into understandable language for relevant stakeholders and members
