Industrial Metal Polisher

**Polisher Job Description**

Our company is looking for a Metal Polisher to join our team. As Razoo continues to expand its capabilities and workload, there is an opportunity for a metal polisher to join the team. The role will be best suited to a person who has worked in stainless steel fabrication and has an eye for detail. Position is for initially a part time role in a dedicated workshop with potential to expand into a full time position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Grinding, Sanding and polishing custom fabricated stainless steel benches and components.
- Work alongside welders inspecting parts for flaws in the assembled metal product.
- Electro-acid cleaning welds.
- Lifting and moving work benches for polishing.
- Adhere to company uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards. Arrive to each scheduled shift on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
- Assume 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of tools & work area.
- Assist other stations or areas of the workshop when requested by management.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
- Able to work under general supervision and follow instructions;
- Knowledge of safe chemical and equipment handling required;
- Detail-oriented and efficient;
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs;
- 1-3 years experience preferred;
- Experience in a manufacturing facility;
- Has working knowledge of grinders, straight grinders, polishing/sanding wheels, die grinders, burnishers, clamps and other workshop equipment.
- Able to read blueprints for finish specifications and critical dimensions;
- Able to work with little or no supervision.
- Operate equipment such as, but not limited to, dishwasher, and kitchen equipment;
- Able to Multi-Task.

**Bonus skills**:

- Forklift license

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
