Production welder

Our client located in Reservoir is looking for a production welder (MIG/TIG - aluminium and mild steel) to join the business in their large factory which provides the best in design and manufactured products.

Main duties:

• Collaborate with managers to design and fabricate custom metal projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the requirements of a project
• Use a variety of tools and machinery
• Fabricate and assemble components within required tolerances
• Oversee projects from start to finish
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

To be considered for these roles you must possess the following attributes:-

• Minimum 3 years experience
• Minimum 3 years of MIG/TIG welding experience is required for this position
• High level skill in MIG and TIG welding - aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel
• Recent experience in a production / manufacturing environment
• The ability to interpret technical drawings and to read and understand welding symbols.
• Proven ability to produce work to a high standard
• A strong commitment to safety & all WHS policies
• Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents
