Our Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Concierge to join our Sydney Team. To provide an exceptional corporate hospitality experience at Mirvac HQ, curating Mirvac spaces to ensure a premium and personal experience for both visitors and staff, as well as effectively and efficiently manage meeting rooms to maximise availability of the rooms like any corporate venue.

**Your responsibilities are but not limited to**:
Day to day management - Must be familiar with each days’ events and meetings to effectively manage the space and allow more personalised engagement with visitors and staff.
Planning - Proactively review event and meeting bookings in advance to ensure all requirements are known and understood, to liaise with appropriate stakeholders to ensure premium experience
Room configurations - Work with team to ensure rooms are all configured to meet requirements including room setups.
Know people - Build positive relationships with Mirvac staff, be able to recognise Board members and regular visitors to provide personal service. Know ELT and MLT members and their EAs/Pas to support their needs.
Safety - Understand our responsibilities regarding safety and safety procedures - assist with visitor check-in as required, visitor escort requirement, staff induction and emergency procedures to be able to direct others in the event of a safety concern, eg fire drill.
Room readiness - Ensure room and venue readiness - maintain meeting rooms, Town Hall and MILC and surrounds so they are functioning, safe befitting of our brand and available to support business endeavours and re-set between meetings.
Liaise with others - Work with Client Experience Supervisor, Operations and Digital team and catering staff to ensure smooth operation of meetings and events. Proactively identify and act to address any foreseeable issues.
AV - Work with AV support and Digital to develop troubleshooting capability and understanding of AV systems to support staff where possible
Catering - Liaise with Café/Caterers to ensure catering is appropriate and timely and room are cleared as soon as possible.
Work with Operations team to maximise the availability of rooms and coordinate events, providing direction and support to EAs, PAs and event bookers.
Telephony - Answer incoming calls, attend to enquiries from customers, visitors and members of the public generally in a professional, courteous and timely manner directing enquiries to the relevant person/department
Proactively seek ways to improve efficiency and experience of corporate hospitality/reception operations and event management
Develop rapport with interstate office Concierge/Reception roles to complement local activity and improve efficiency
Maintain/develop Concierge Handbook
Review and update Premises information on “The Vine” and stay abreast of any business activities - projects, etc - that may be in the public arena as well and organization structure or personnel changes.

Your point of difference

You will have previous experience in customer service role, exceptional communication, organisation and interpersonal skills

You will have excellent self-presentation and a calm, professional and mature attitude with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in relation to corporate information.

Finally, you will have the ability to prioritise, use initiative and work effectively in a team and independently.
