Based in either our Wetherill Park or Chatswood office you will be reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager ANZ as our brand new Transport specialist You will be responsible of managing the ANZ inbound international freight management, clearance and delivery to distribution centre. The role is also responsible for custom clearance and any related activities with customs. You will manage capital stock deliveries to site and the management of domestic freight carriers.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Work closely with Project division, Customer Service and Aftermarket teams to organise capital stock deliveries.
- Liaise with international carriers to ensure optimal performance to deliver shipments as required
- Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth clearance to shipment and support any enquires.
- Work alongside with planners to organise shipments with vendors accordingly to requirements.
- Point of escalation for any challenges for international and domestic freight.
- Ensure that all work is conducted in a manner compliant with the WHS Management Plan, company environment, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and all relevant state legislation.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation, distribution and logistics polices, processes and practices.
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years of experience in freight coordination
- Similar experience in the medical device industry - preferable but not required
- Good understanding of international and domestic freight requirements.
- Solid understanding of ANZ customs requirements
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and be passionate about working in a fast paces environment
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- A customer-centric approach is key
