An opening has become available for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner **living in Frankston (or very close by)**who has a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes, to**join our professional and friendly team.

We may consider a person who has a sound understanding of positive behaviour support under the NDIS due to having experience supporting people with behaviours of concern who are being supported by a Behaviour Support Practitioner.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner you will...
- Support our clients (NDIS participants), along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
- Identify meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
- Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
- Ensure individual plans reflect our clients' goals, passions and strengths
- Build the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support our clients - family, carers, friends, etc

**About you**
- Current suitability (i.e. registration) with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work positively in a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Confident computer skills
- Flawless writing skills
- Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle

**Qualifications**
- Degree level qualifications of relevance to providing supports to people with behaviours of concern are highly preferred
