**About the Role**

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Support Workers, to join our dedicated team in providing specialised care to participants with complex needs. We are particularly looking for staff who are committed to building long-term, supportive relationships with those they support.

As part of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care while addressing participants’ daily needs, including behaviour support. This role requires someone who is firm but fair, with strong boundaries and mental health expertise.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Direct Support**: Provide person-centred care to participants with high-level needs, focusing on safety, daily living activities, and emotional regulation.
- **Behavioural Management**: Support participants through challenging behaviours, employing trauma-informed care and proactive de-escalation techniques.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with families, support teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to care.
- **Maintain Boundaries**: Establish and maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and nurturing care.

**About You**:
**Essential Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with clients with Autism, particularly Level 3 Autism and non-verbal individuals
- Experience with clients with complex behaviors
- MAYBO Training or CPI (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience in behaviour management and epilepsy
- Strong knowledge of de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution
- Medication Administration Competency (training will be provided)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain firm boundaries while demonstrating care and understanding
- A calm, resilient, and professional approach to managing challenging behaviors
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
