Established in Ballarat, Victoria, over 15 years ago, Precision Ag has developed into Australia’s largest independent soil sampling business and provider of variable rate farming solutions. Providing services to the broadacre cropping, pasture, horticulture and viticulture sectors and carbon project managers nationally, our mission is to be Australia’s Soil Management Specialist recognised for sustainably driving farm profitability.

**Key accountabilities**:

- The timely and accurate entry of customer information and transactions into Salesforce
- Collection, digitisation and confirmation of paddock boundaries for all deals within your region
- Provision of soil sampling plans to customers prior to the commencement of field work
- Maintenance of all start and end field work dates within your region
- Scheduling all field work within your region to ensure operational capacity is utilised and field work is completed on time
- Telephone contact with customers prior to the commencement of field work.
- Telephone contact with customers following the completion of field work.
- Provision of accurate prescription files to contractors / customers, following approval of agreed actions
- Management of spreading contractor relationships within your region

**Key responsibilities and duties**:

- Conduct market analysis to deepen the business’ understanding of new opportunities
- Follow up prospective customers and qualify them based on agreed criteria
- Provide onboarding and training materials to new agronomy partners and farmer customers
- Deliver results to customers in the manner required, with all deals moved to ‘Work completed’ within two-days of results being made available
- Provide ongoing training and support to both farmer and agronomic customer relationships
- Support post-season reviews with key customers to ensure all agreed actions were implemented
- Contribute to in-house research and development and identify opportunities to take on sector and industry leaderships on behalf of the broader sales team
- Contribute to the marketing and promotions of key services within your region
- Promote the merits of the business and relevant services through representation at key events throughout your region.
- Attend training courses and industry workshops to expand your industry intelligence and broaden your network.
- Adhere to relevant business processes to ensure the orderly handover between key personnel
- Actively contribute to a culture of continuous process improvement.

**Required Experience & Skills**
- A passion for the agricultural sector
- Strong communication skills and work ethic
- A customer-first mindset
- The ability to form relationships across the organisation - particularly with Sales Managers and the Operations team
- The ability to solve issues and communicate those solutions in simple, easy-to-understand ways to customers
- An Australian driver’s licence.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
