Citywide are recruiting for a **Turf Team Leader** for our City of Port Phillip contract, responsible for premium and community sports grounds that includes the iconic **Port Melbourne Cricket Ground**. Based at our depot in **Port Melbourne**, you will be leading a small team and coordinating day to day activities such as general turf maintenance program, weeding, chemical spraying, watering, laying turf, line marking, irrigation mark out and maintenance.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Support the Operations Supervisor with delivery of assigned works
- On ground leadership and supervision of the works
- Daily reporting of performance against set schedules
- Coordination of all operational day to day activities of the assigned team
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and escalate any safety, operational or employee issues to the Supervisor
- Undertake and record daily worksite assessments - audit checks, HAC sheets, OH&S compliance etc.
- Ensure that duties are performed taking into account safety of employees, contractors and the public
- Updating and using Citywide’s and/or the Client’s systems
- Other duties as required

**Skill and qualifications required**:

- Relevant experience and knowledge of Turf Management
- Cert III in Turf management or similar
- Turf wicket preparation/knowledge
- Experience with turf machinery use and maintenance
- Current Victorian MR Licence
- Police Check and WWCC
- Experience with MS Office and other systems
- Ability to lead a team and build relationships
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Traffic Management (Desirable)
- ACUP Spray Ticket (Desirable)
- Certificate II First Aid (Desirable)
